Youth Ministry

Our Middle and High School students are a vital part of the life here at Kingston. Keep reading below to see what's going on in the ministry as well as ways you can volunteer with our students. For more information, please contact Holly Bannan at hbannan@kingstonpc.org.

  • Sundays

    Sunday Sabbath Walks

Our middle/high students have combined Sunday School every week 9:30 - 10:00am. When the weather is nice, they take a Sabbath walk along the riverwalk.

  • Weekly Gatherings @7

    Monday Night / Friday Morning

Our students are meeting this spring on Monday evenings at 7pm and Friday mornings at 7am.

On Mondays, we have dinner in the Gore House, play games, enjoy a bible study, and have a great time of fellowship.

Friday mornings are a time of fellowship at Chick-fil-A, Bojangles, or Dunkin' Donut!

  • Youth in Worship

    Liturgists

Our students actively participate in worship. Like our older Elementary students, they read scripture as well as other liturgy each Sunday.

  • Annual leadership opportunity

    Youth Sunday

Every Spring, our Youth lead one of our worship services. They participate in every part of worship, including preaching the sermon!

  • Confirmation

    Confirmation Class

Our students, 8th grade and older, participate in a Confirmation Class. They meet throughout the year, write their own statement of faith, and join the church as full members at the conclusion of the class and upon examination by our Session.

  • How to help

    Volunteers and Shepherds

Here at Kingston, we aim to create a safe, fun environment for our students. In order to do that, we need volunteers to help with Sunday School as shepherds, chaperones for events, and more. If you would like to volunteer and be part of this ministry, please contact Holly Bannan.
