Bridge Pastor
Rev Joel M Long
During this season of transition at Kingston Presbyterian Church, we want to extend a warm welcome to Pastor Long who will serve as our Bridge Pastor.
A native of North Carolina, Joel holds a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary PC(USA), Decatur, GA. Following fulltime pastorates for 40 years, he then felt called into Transitional/ Interim Ministry and attended Montreat Conference Center for Levels 1 & 2 Certified Transitional Specialist training. Serving 8 Interims since 2009, Joel most recently retired as Transitional Pastor of Georgetown Presbyterian Church. He is now serving as Staff Associate for New Harmony Presbytery Committee on Ministry. He also serves as Parish Associate for Congregational Care, Trinity Presbyterian, Surfside Beach, SC.
Joel is married to Ann Long, Interim Music Director at Trinity. He enjoys singing in the Trinity Choir, playing golf as time allows, and serving as liaison to the Deacons for pastoral care for the Trinity congregation.
KPC is blessed to have Rev Long tend to our congregation and we look forward to his sermons every week.

Mary Alwine
Mary started working for Kingston in the beginning of September 2013. She is a native of a small suburb near Chicago, Illinois. Mary is married to Troy and they share 5 girls: Nicole (38), Brianna (Bee) (29), Brianna (Bri) (23), Bethany (19), and Bailey (17). They also have a grandson, Jack, who is almost 3 years old. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, camping, live music, and spending time with family and friends.

Choir Director and Organist
Bradley Hardee
Bradley is our longest currently serving staff member here at Kingston. Bradley started working here in 2007. He is a native of Conway. In addition to working here at Kingston, Bradley is a phlebotomist with the HealthReach program at Conway Medical Center as well as the Associate Organist at St. James Catholic Church. In his spare time, you can find Bradley with his five cats, four dogs, kayaking along the river, or crocheting a blanket.

Church Sexton
Kenneth Demming
Kenneth joined our staff in June 2024. He comes to us with an extensive background in custodial experience. He has lived and worked for large organizations in Los Angeles and New York City. He was a custodian for the Shubert Theatre in New York. He was also a custodial supervisor at Madison Square Garden in New York. As an interesting side note, he was responsible for cleaning the suites at Madison Square Garden for people like Jay-Z and Beyonce! Kenneth and his wife, Jennifer, live in Carolina Forest. Jennifer works as a nurse with Pruitt Health in Myrtle Beach. In his free time, Kenneth enjoys lifting weights and boxing. He also loves studying his Bible and is a devout Christian. Kenneth is also a big sports fan. He loves the New York Yankees baseball team, the Los Angeles Rams NFL team, and the Lakers NBA team. When you have a moment, give Kenneth a warm Kingston welcome!
